The courage shown by Korean and United Nations Command forces, representing unprecedented global solidarity with 22 nations giving their blood and treasure in defense of freedom, continues to inspire us, having laid the foundation for the Republic of Korea’s remarkable transformation and prosperity.
Today, we stand together, as allies and friends, united by shared values and a determination to uphold the legacy of those who served. This enduring legacy is embodied by the United Nations Command, which remains a living symbol of international resolve to defend peace through collective action.
