Asian students in Japan react with concern watching U.S. election results

An auditorium at the Tokyo campus of Temple University was filled on Wednesday with the excited babble of students at a viewing event for the U.S. presidential election.

More than 100 Gen Zers — many American, but also from Japan and various other Asian nations — watched a CBS broadcast on the election for six hours from early results through to Fox News calling the key swing state of Pennsylvania for Republican Party candidate Donald Trump.
