Cambodia held a completion ceremony for the expansion of Ream Naval Base on Saturday, a project that was carried out with Chinese support and has stirred worries that China’s military might receive exclusive access to the port.
Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet attended the ceremony at the base in the southern province of Sihanoukville.
