Japan’s big 3 defense contractors to reap 25% jump in sales

Three big names in Japan’s defense industry together expect a 25% bump in revenue from this area in the current fiscal year as the government ramps up spending.

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Kawasaki Heavy Industries and IHI are projecting defense-related segments to ring up 1.51 trillion yen ($9.82 billion) combined for the year ending March 2025.
