Paparo met with DPM Peters and his delegation, which included Courts Minister Nicole McKee, Climate Change and Energy Minister Simon Watts, and Pacific Peoples and Universities Minister Dr. Shane Reti.
Emerging technology, defense cooperation, regional security issues, and other topics of common interest were discussed.
In order to show New Zealand’s dedication to its Pacific partnerships, Peters led a high-level political delegation throughout the area during his Pacific Mission, which included a visit to Hawaii.
