Trump has reportedly given Putin until August 8 to make peace or face harsher sanctions, with Ukraine’s Zelenskyy saying Russia is already feeling the pressure.
Ukraine has been ready to finalize what Zelenskyy called one of the strongest drone deals yet, as Kyiv leans more on foreign defense investment.
Meanwhile, President Trump has said that declining global energy prices could pressure Russian President Vladimir Putin to halt the war in Ukraine.
